Overview
This is the short version of central Vietnam and it does not pretend otherwise. You are collected at Da Nang airport, fed properly — bánh tráng thịt heo, the local pork-and-rice-paper roll — and taken straight out to the Son Tra peninsula for Linh Ung Pagoda and the 67-metre Lady Buddha, then down to the Marble Mountains.
The afternoon runs into Hoi An, where you walk the old town as the lanterns come on and eat there. Day two is the mountain: the cable car up to Ba Na Hills, the Golden Bridge, Le Jardin d'Amour and the French Village, a buffet lunch at the top, and down in time for the evening flight.

Breakfast at the hotel, then up to Ba Na Hills by cable car for the Golden Bridge, Le Jardin d'Amour and the French Village. Buffet lunch at the top. Down in the afternoon and on to Da Nang airport for the flight out.

Land in Da Nang before 10:00 on day one and fly out after 18:00 on day two. Anything tighter and one of the two days loses its afternoon.

Children aged 10 and over are charged the full rate. Children aged 9 and under are charged 75 percent of the rate, and children under 3 travel free of charge.
