Cookie Policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
This website sets one cookie. It remembers which language you chose and nothing else. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie and no third-party tracking, which is why you were never asked to accept anything.
The one cookie we set
- Name:
atlas_locale - What it stores: the language you picked — English, Tiếng Việt or 中文. Three letters, nothing more.
- Why: so the site opens in your language next time instead of guessing again.
- How long: one year, unless you clear it sooner.
- Who can read it: only this website. It is not shared with anyone and carries nothing that identifies you.
It is set the moment you choose a language from the switcher at the top of the page. If you never touch the switcher, it is never set, and the site simply reads the language preference your browser already sends.
What we do not set
- No analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager and no measurement script on this site.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no social media pixels.
- No third-party embeds that would set cookies of their own — no map frames, no video players, no chat widget that follows you.
Photographs, fonts and icons are all served from this website's own address, so loading a page does not quietly announce your visit to anyone else.
Server logs are not cookies
Our host keeps ordinary request logs — IP address, browser, the page requested — the way every web server does. That happens whether or not you accept cookies, and it is covered in our privacy policy.
Clearing or blocking it
Clearing cookies for this site in your browser removes it. Blocking cookies entirely also works — the site keeps working normally, it just stops remembering your language between visits. Every browser offers this under its privacy or site data settings.
If this changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly needed to run the site, we will list it here, update the date at the top, and ask your permission before setting it.
