FAQ

Before you write

How does custom trip planning work?

Tell us your dates, who is travelling, the kind of trip you have in mind and a rough budget. We'll come back with a suggested route and itinerary, then refine it with you until the pace, hotels and experiences feel right. Once you're happy, we'll confirm the details and next steps for booking.

How far ahead should I plan?

Three to six months ahead gives the widest choice of hotels, cruises and guides, especially from February to April, around Christmas and during Tet, the Lunar New Year. Shorter notice can often work too. Get in touch with your dates and we'll confirm what is realistic.

Can you plan trips for families or older travellers?

Yes. Routes can be shaped around young children, older travellers or anyone who prefers a gentler pace, with fewer hotel changes, shorter transfers and more time to rest. Let us know about mobility needs, dietary requirements or anything else that matters, and we'll plan around it.

Do I need a visa for Vietnam?

It depends on your nationality. Some passport holders can visit visa-free for a limited period, and Vietnam offers e-visas to many nationalities. Rules and permitted lengths of stay change, so check the current requirements on Vietnam's official government immigration portal or with your nearest Vietnamese embassy before you book flights. Your passport should also have plenty of validity remaining.

What's included in the price?

It depends on the journey. Accommodation, private transfers, guided experiences and some meals are typical inclusions, while international flights and travel insurance are usually arranged separately. Everything included in your trip will be set out clearly in your proposal before you commit.

Can I change the itinerary?

Your itinerary is built with you, so changes during planning are expected. If you want to adjust something once your trip is booked, get in touch as early as you can. We'll confirm what is possible and whether any supplier costs apply.
